Reigning Club Champion, Michael “Tickers” Tickner lost his semi final to David “Robbie” robinson on the 19th. Locked together in a titanic struggle extra sudden death holes were required. In the other A grade final Matthew Opperman made quick work of Russell “Gus The Good Guy” Wenzel winning 7 & 6.

In B Grade, Gordon “The Chook Man” Kakoschke took defending Champion David “Jack” Webster to the 20th before succumbing to exhaustion. The other B grade semi final degenerated into a race to the bottom between Dick Cleland & Andy Spackman. Both players seemed unwilling to accept the opportunities that their opponents continually offered. The affair was finally put to rest on the 18th when Andy played the wrong ball giving Dick the match 1 up.

In C grade Eddie “The Flying Dutchman” proved too strong for Trevor Austin winning 5 & 4. The remaining C grade semi final between reigning title holder Neil Webster & multiple title holder Bob Taylor is yet to be played.
