Eddie “The Flying Dutchman” Van Keulen bounced back from the Mars Bar on Tuesday to win Thursday’s 9 hole mulligan comp with 25 stableford points. Eddie’s score was all the more remarkable as he did not use any mulligans. Leading the C Grade qualifying with one round to go The Dutchman will be unbeatable if he can reproduce this form in the matchplay rounds. Runner up was a much improved Andrew Hall with a score of 22 (3 mulligans). This score would have been sufficient to win in the 3 previous weeks. Andy Phillips scored 19(3) followed by Bob Taylor 18(3), Dick Cleland 16(1 + -sand bucket)) while Peter Mengerson took the Mars Bar with 11(3).
