Neil Webster broke his handicap with 39 stableford points to narrowly defeat the mercurial Bob Taylor who finished on 38. There was a big gap to the also-rans with Chris “Critta” Waters & Russell “Gus The Good Guy” Wenzel on 34, followed by Eddie “The Flying Dutchman” on 32. The final trio had a poor day with Andy Phillips & David “Jack” Webster scoring just 27. The Mars Bar went to colourful local identity Philip “Thomo” Thomson with only 24.
