Dick Secomb was unfazed by his disappointing performance in Thursday’s mulligans, scoring a blistering 41 stableford points to easily win on Saturday. Dick started off as if it was a 9 hole competition scoring a remarkable 24 points on the front 9. Despite tiring on the homeward 9, he held it together sufficiently to add a further 17 points. Runner up was a much improved Chris “Critta” Waters with 38. Trio David “Robbie” Robinson, Dick Cleland & Kobi Wenzel all scored 36 followed by another trio, Michael “Tickers” Tickner, Eddie “The Flying Dutchman” Van Keulen & Russell “Gus The Good Guy” Wenzel on 33. There was yet another 3 way tie for the Mars Bar, with Shawn “Sheep” Rayson, colourful local identity “Philip “Thomo” Thomson & Mark “Mouldy” Millward locked together with 30 points. Mouldy was awarded the chocolate on a countback.
