A contest of gargantuan proportions took place on Tuesday between Neil Webster & Eddie “The Flying Dutchman” Van Keulen who were playing in the same group. The Dutchman struck first with a birdie for 4 points on the 1st hole but with both players playing above themselves Neil had edged ahead at the turn with 23 points to Eddie’s 22. On the back 9 both had anxious moments but managed to get back on track. At the finish Eddie had drawn level with 19 to Neil’s 18 on the homeward 9, for totals of 41 each, which saw Eddie claim the day on a count back.

David “Jack” Webster was third with 37, followed by Kobi Wenzel 36, Andrew Phillips 34, Mark “Mouldy” Millward 33, Russell “Gus The Good Guy” Wenzel 31, Dick Cleland 30 and taking the Mars Bar Bradtke Stockman 28.
