Runner up was Gordon “The Chook Man” Kakoschke with 20 points. The Chook Man was able to play because of a recess in ladies bowls. Dick Cleland, who had a run of 3 putt greens was next with 19. Colourful local identity “Philip “Thomo” Thomson scored 15 while the Mars Bar went to Eddie “The Flying Dutchman” Van Keulen with 9 points. Despite his low score Eddie did not use any mulligans as he was in one of his funny moods.
