Tuesday – Par 3

The winter season got underway this week in warm & dry conditions. The gentlemen’s events started on Tuesday with a 20 hole par 3 event. Form player of the moment, Pat Hallion, won with a net 59. Closely behind was the trio, colourful local identity Philip “Tommo” Thomson, Dick Cleland & Andy Phillips with net 60. Tommo got the runner’s up ball on a count back.

Thursday – Mulligans

Andrew Hall was too strong winning comfortably with 23 points despite a late fade. Runner up was Peter Mengerson with 21. Russell “Gus The Good Guy” Wenzel took the Mars Bar, something he has been making a habit of lately.

Saturday – McMahon Mug & Individual Stableford

Klaus Heymann blitzed Saturday’s storming home with 24 points on the back 9 for a total of 40. The first round of the McMahon Mug was played with Matt McCauley & David “Robbie” Robinson 43 points not many more than Klaus. It shows how little Klaus’s partner must have contributed!
