David “Jack” Webster & Bob Perry played off in the final of the Jennison Handicap Match Play Cup on Friday. After halving the first hole Bob won the next 4 holes to open up a commanding lead after 5. Jack then began to get his driver under control and won holes 5 & 6 to cut the deficit to 2 before Bob Perry won the 9th to turn 3 up. Jack really got thing going on the back 9 winning holes 10 & 11 to close the gap to 1. Bob won the 15th to make the margin 2 up with 3 to play, but Jack was not ready to give up winning 16 & 17 to square the match. Hole 18 was halved and the match entered a “sudden death” playoff with Jack victorious on the 19th. Well played to both players
