Eddie “The Flying Dutchman” Van Keulen played powerhouse golf to win today’s mulligan event with 23 stableford points,. The Dutchman’s game showed great consistency with 5 three pointers & 4 two pointers. Runner up was Dick Cleland with 21, just 1 ahead of Russell “Gus The Good Guy” Wenzel on 20, both good scores. Next was visitor Anton De Vent from Moe, Victoria. Playing off a 5 handicap Anton scored 18 points. The mercurial Bob Taylor was slow off the mark scoring just 1 point in the first two holes before settling down & finishing with 17. Gordon “The Chook Man” Kakoschke managed only 16. Despite his disappointing score he mysteriously used only 2 of his 3 mulligans. Andrew Hall scored 15, followed by a disappointing Andy Phillips on 13. Andy started the day with 4 one pointers. The Mars Bar went to Ron Kahane.
