Dick Cleland followed up last night’s Burra Malt Club tasting with a stunning 41 stableford points to demolish today’s field. Dick was advised by his physician 15 years ago of the health benefits of drinking single malt whisky and he has followed this advice assiduously ever since. Runner up was David “Jack” Webster on a count back from colourful local identity Philip “Thomo” Thomson, both scoring 36. Chris “Critta” Waters scored 33 followed by the mercurial Bob Taylor on 32. A count back was required to award the Mars Bar with Eddie “The Flying Dutchman” & Neil Webster both scoring 31. Neil received the confectionery.
