David “Jack” Webster has moved to the top of the qualifiers after the third qualifying round. Jack has a best 2 round total of 169, just 1 stroke ahead of Michael “Tickers” Tickner who failed to improve his 2 round total on Saturday. Pat Hallion is 3rd on 171, but there is talk of lowering the cut off between A & B grades to keep Pat out of the A grade race.
In B grade, former club champion, colourful local sporting identity Philip “Tommo” Thomson leads comfortably with 188, while Kobi Wenzel leads C grade with 202.
In the handicap competition Kobi Wenzel & Pat Hallion both scored net 71, with one of them winning on a count back.
