Tuesday 12th November

Andrea Rowe was the best of the 3 girls who ventured out on Tuesday. With 4 of our regular ladies playing assoc Bowls numbers were down. Gusty winds made conditions rather tricky but Andrea managed a respectable 30 stableford points. Runner up was Sharyn Roberts with 28 points, followed by Peg Gebhardt with 26 points. The NTP Ball has stayed in the trophy cupboard for the past 2 weeks with no one hitting the green! Last week (Nov 5th) scores were – Winner Di Day, 31 points. Runner Up Sharyn Roberts 30 points on a countback from Margie Stockman.

Next Tuesday is forecast ‘hot’ – Tee off now at 8.00 am. Cards in at 7.45 am.

Andrea continues to dominate!

Andrea Rowe has been in good form since the summer season started and posted another good score today . An impressive 35 points gave her the win over ‘slow starter’ Sharyn Roberts. Andrea also won the extra comp of Mystery holes with a score of 20 and won the ball for NTP. Judy Reilly & Marj Wride played 9 holes and Judy was victor over Marj by 1 point.

15th October, 2019

Only a countback could separate Andrea Rowe & Peg Gebhardt this week. Both came in with an impressive 35 stableford points. Andrea won the comp on countback with a 20 point back nine.

Other Scores were Sharyn Roberts 31 points & Judy Reilly 28 points. The extra comp was most 2 pointers and Andrea also got the chocolates in that with 9.

Peg Gebhardt won the nearest to the pin on Hole 8, a great shot considering she had a close encounter with a ‘Slithering Sam’ only a few holes earlier and should have been a bit shaky!!

Tuesday, October 8th

Only a few ladies braved the cool, windy conditions this week. Andrea Rowe was the victor with a handy 32 points. It seems that Peg and Shaz were having their own competition to see how many trees they could hit! Full results as below:

Ladies golf – Tuesday October 1st

The ladies started the summer stableford competition on Tuesday. Overall the scores were down on average considering the near perfect conditions. Sharyn Roberts & Judy Reilly shared the prizes.

• Winner – Sharyn Roberts 32 points
• Runner up – Peg Gebhardt 26 points on countback from Andrea Rowe
• Judy Reilly – 23 points
• Marj Wride – won the Mars bar

• Extra Comp – Most 2 points was won by Judy Reilly with 9
• Birdie Ball went to Sharyn Roberts (hole 16)
• Chipout – Judy Reilly (hole 6)

Thursday, October 31st

The A.G.M. will be held on Thursday October 31^st   at. 8.00 p.m.  The committee have decided to open the bar at 7.30 p.m. for members to gather socially before the meeting. All members are encouraged to attend and take an active interest in your club. Please fill in the nomination form available at the Golf Club bar if you wish to be on the committee.
