The attendance at Sunday’s auction was down slightly on previous auctions. There were a great many bargains to be had however but we understand that the takings while down were still satisfactory.<\/p>\n

The club would like to thank auctioneers Connor Lamond & Tim Taplin for giving their services to the club. Once again there was a strong team of club members to ensure the smooth running of the auction. This time Bob Taylor had to manage the barbecue without the assistance of Gordon “The Chook Man” Kakoschke. It appears the lure of big prize money saw The Chook Man deciding to play bowls instead.<\/p>\n
