The gentlemen&#8217;s events started on Tuesday with a 20 hole par 3 event.  Form player of the moment, Pat Hallion, won with a net 59.  Closely behind was the trio, colourful local identity Philip &#8220;Tommo&#8221; Thomson, Dick Cleland &amp; Andy Phillips with net 60. Runner up was Peter Mengerson with 21. The first round of the McMahon Mug was played with Matt McCauley &amp; David &#8220;Robbie&#8221; Robinson 43 points not many more than Klaus.
