{"id":2981,"date":"2020-03-30T18:59:17","date_gmt":"2020-03-30T08:29:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/burragolf.com.au\/?p=2981"},"modified":"2020-03-30T18:59:21","modified_gmt":"2020-03-30T08:29:21","slug":"burra-golf-course-closed-until-further-notice","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/burragolf.com.au\/?p=2981","title":{"rendered":"Burra Golf Course Closed Until Further Notice"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Covid-19 measures introduced by the Government have meant that all golf courses in Australia should be closed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The health of all members and visitors are of prime concern and the committee has acted quickly following the latest government announcements and advice from Golf Australia. The clubhouse was closed a week ago and will remain closed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We have tried to keep  the course open while meeting social distancing guidelines but given the tightening of these it is no longer possible. It was our aim to provide the opportunity for members to continue to get exercise. Unfortunately, according to the government, golf does not rate as an exercise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We will open the course again once it is deemed safe to do so.
