During the Summer of 2015\/2016 with hard fairways with plenty of run Thomo reduced his handicap to 10. By the end of Winter 2016 Thomo was back on 15. Now that Summer has finally arrived and the fairways have hardened up we see Thomo returning to the winners circle. He has already reduced his handicap to 14 &amp; now is well on his way to further reducing it.<\/p>\n<p>Tuesday saw the best weather for golf in a decade &amp; yet only 4 players turned up. Monday night saw a meeting of the Burra Malt Whisky Tasting Group which could account for 1 or 2. Thomo won with a score of 40 stableford points which would have beaten much larger fields. Runner up was Andy Phillips four points back on 36.
