AFL Grand Final Golf Results
Crows 39-54-288 defeated Tigers 12-16-88

Using a unique scoring system based on the par competition and devised by the imaginative Gus The Good Guy, 9 players played golf “football” on Saturday. As can be seen by the scores below the footy scores bear little relationship to the golf score, although Robbie had the best round by both scoring systems. The Crows won handsomely because they had 7 players to the Tigers 2. This is something the Adelaide Football Club should consider next year.

Sadly the Crows performance at the MCG mirrored that of their keenest Burra supporter, Gordon “The Chook Man” Kakoschke. The Chook Man jumped out of the blocks and was 5 up with 6 goals 2 after 9 holes. On the back 9 he was 5 down & added just 4 points to his footy score.
The Mars Bar went to Gus The Good Guy.
