Eddie “The Flying Dutchman’ Van Keulen came home with a wet sail after faltering at the start of the homeward 9. The Dutchman played steady golf on the front 9 for a share of the lead with 18 points. He scored only 2 points in the next 3 holes and it looked like the all too familiar choking malaise was about to strike once more. But Eddie got his second wind scoring an amazing 17 points over the final six holes for a total of 37. This was just enough to defeat Russell “Gus The Good Guy” Wenzel who finished with 36. The mercurial Bob Taylor scored 35 while David “Jack” Webster scored 31.
