If you think the handicapper was a bit rough the previous Saturday spare a thought for the genial Michael Shepley. Michael scored an excellent 42 points to beat joint runners up David “Robbie” Robinson & David “Jack” Webster who both scored 38. The handicapper spoilt Michael’s party by reducing his handicap by a massive 3 strokes. Chris “Critta” Waters arrived so late that it is arguable whether he should have been allowed to play. He was allowed to play but had to complete the first two holes his group played after everyone else had finished. So doing, he managed to take the Mars Bar.
